COPYRIGHT & EDUCATIONAL USE

Learn Freely.
Use Responsibly.

AI First Engineering encourages personal learning and appropriate noncommercial academic use while protecting its publications, educational resources, software, and other intellectual property from unauthorized redistribution and commercial exploitation.

Educational Use & Copyright

Unless otherwise stated on a specific resource, materials provided through AI First Engineering are copyrighted works intended for personal learning and appropriate noncommercial academic and educational use. Academic use should include proper attribution. Commercial use, corporate training, systematic redistribution, republication, or incorporation into commercial products or services requires prior written permission from AI First Engineering LLC.

  • Student educational use
  • Individual engineer self-study

  • Citing AI First Engineering publications and resources in academic work

Permission or Licensing Is Generally Required For

  • Corporate or organizational training
  • Company-wide or institution-wide redistribution
  • Uploading substantial materials to internal training portals
  • Commercial education or paid training programs

Individual Use vs. Organizational Use

Employment by a commercial organization does not automatically make personal learning a commercial use.

For example, an engineer employed by a corporation may personally access a chapter or engineering resource for self-study. That is different from the corporation incorporating the material into a formal employee-training program, internal learning system, consulting deliverable, or commercial product.

For Educators

Educators are encouraged to link students directly to AI First Engineering resources and to use appropriate portions of the materials for noncommercial academic instruction with proper attribution.

Systematic reproduction, institutional hosting, republication of substantial portions, or incorporation into another distributed course package may require permission.

Attribution

Major AI First Engineering publications, applications, simulations, and other resources should provide a recommended citation wherever practical.

When a resource provides a specific citation, please use that citation. Otherwise, attribution should identify the author or authors where listed, the resource title, AI First Engineering, and the website.

Downloadable Materials

Copyright and use information may also appear inside downloadable PDFs, software, applications, and other files. Those resource-specific terms should remain attached to the material if it is saved or shared within the permitted scope of use.

Engineering and AI Resources

AI First Engineering resources are intended for education, exploration, and engineering learning. Simulations, calculations, software, AI outputs, and technical materials may contain errors or limitations and should not be treated as a substitute for independent professional engineering review, applicable standards, testing, validation, or professional judgment.

Commercial or Institutional Permission

Organizations interested in commercial training, institutional use, licensing, redistribution, or other uses beyond the permissions described above should contact AI First Engineering for written permission.
